This article is a simple Takeoff Procedures cheatsheet for Cessna 150 Takeoff Procedures based on the 1976 150 Commuter Model 150M Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH).

Short Field Takeoff (Maximum Performance Takeoff)
Wing Flaps - 0˚
Use All Available Runway
Carburetor Head - COLD
Brakes - APPLY
Throttle - FULL OPEN
Brakes - RELEASE
Elevator Control - SLIGHTLY TAIL LOW, LIFT NOSE WHEEL @ 50 KIAS
Climb Speed - 60 KIAS (WITH OBSTACLE AHEAD)
Soft Field Takeoff
Wing Flaps - 10˚
Carburetor Head - COLD
Elevator Control - FULL AFT DURING TAXI & INITIAL TAKEOFF ROLL
Throttle - FULL OPEN
Elevator Control - AS NOSE LIFTS OFF, REDUCE ELEVATOR SLIGHTLY
As aircraft becomes airborne - LEVEL OFF IN GROUND EFFECT TO ACCELERATE TO Vx
